Squash, courgette & pumpkin 2020

A mixed packet of pumpkin / courgette and butternut squash: To start with (as of 18 April 2020) I have set off (from right to left) on my left windowsill  4 x Butternut squash (Early Butternut) 4 x Courgette (Black Beauty) 4 x Courgette (Golden Zucchini) 4 x Pumpkin (Yellow Scallop) Those few to the extreme left are pre-existing  cucumber seedlings: 25 April 2020 Starting to sprout in the greenhouse 4 May 2020 Further progress:

An unused packet of beetroot seeds of the 'Boltardy' type left over from last year (2019):   Containing approximately 275 seeds, which was enough to set out 2 rows approximately 16 inches apart:   Updates to follow.

Some time spent on a baking hot Easter bank holiday preparing the ground for the planting pof runner beans, using a combination of sticks cut from our cooking apple tree and bamboo canes...

Of the 'White Gem' variety: As per the instructions on the packet, I sow the seeds fairly thickly in two rows roughly 16 ins apart, and cover lightly with soil: More to follow...
